Daniel Fast Day 15

Inspiration Bible Verse:
 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” – Matthew 5:6

Breakfast: Avocado and Tomato Toast

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices whole-grain bread
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Toast the bread slices.
  2. Spread mashed avocado on each slice and top with tomato slices.
  3. Season with salt and pepper before serving.

Lunch: Lentil and Roasted Vegetable Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 cup roasted vegetables (e.g., carrots, bell peppers, zucchini)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine lentils and roasted vegetables.
  2. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and toss to combine.
  3. Top with feta cheese if desired.

Dinner: Vegetable Stir-Fry with Brown Rice

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice

Instructions:

  1. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add broccoli, bell peppers, and snap peas, stir-frying for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add soy sauce and sesame seeds, cooking for another 2 minutes.
  3. Serve over cooked brown rice.

Snack: Orange Slices

Ingredients:

  • 1 orange, peeled and sliced

Instructions:

  1. Serve fresh orange slices as a snack.
