About the Job
Position Overview:
Kingdom Fellowship AME Church (KFAME) is seeking an experienced Director of Media Production to manage A/V staff and contractors and oversees production activities for all KFAME worship experiences. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully direct the creation of short- to long-format live, live-to-tape, and taped productions; these include studio productions, live web-based productions, and field productions that are completed on time and meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement processes, infrastructure, vision casting and creative/technical planning determined by the KFAME executive staff for all ministries.
  • Facilitate pre-production planning meetings with production leads, producers, graphic artists, and editors, to develop creative production approaches to assigned studio and field recordings.
  • Within the studio/sanctuary, implement production plans for assigned productions, including building sets, hanging, and rigging set lighting, and preparing additional equipment as needed.
  • Direct studio and control room crew to meet creative and technical needs of production.
  • On field productions, perform as field director, director of photography, and/or camera operator as assigned, direct field crew to meet creative and technical needs of production.
  • Ensure video production for worship services (i.e., capturing, live streaming, editing, uploading to website) meets technical quality requirements and established deadlines.
  • Coach on-screen talent in best-practices for delivering engaging and technical accurate performances.
  • Operate, maintain, evaluate, and recommend for upgrade/purchase/disposal a variety of studio and field production equipment, to include cameras, lights, lighting boards, audio recorders, audio & video switchers, and ingest systems.
  • Recruit, train, encourage and support lay people in the various volunteer ministries of Music and Worship Arts in our congregation.
  • Maintain a reliable system for providing technical support for all worship services and events. This includes (but is not limited to): Audio mixing, monitor mixing, and audio recording (knowledge of Yamaha M7 series a plus)
  • Lighting production (knowledge of Martin M1 console a plus)
  • Switching with multiple cameras (IMAG)
  • Video recording, and live streaming production o ProPresenter/ PowerPoint presentation
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Film, TV/Video Production, Communications, or in an applicable field.
  • Highly tech-savvy, able to learn and master new technology quickly and thoroughly.
  • Expert knowledge of audio/video/lighting signal flows and strong ability to troubleshoot in all these environments.  Lead studio and field teams during fast-paced productions.
  • Possess leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate various teams of organizational leaders, senior management, contracted technical professionals, and servant/volunteers.
  • Ability to embrace and pursue artistic and spiritual excellence in worship services.
  • Extensive experience in all facets of field and studio production, to include building sets, lighting, rigging, teleprompter operation, camera operation, floor managing, etc.
  • 5 or more years directing experience in live and live-to-tape broadcast & studio environment.
  • Familiarity with internet-based production processes and services for live and/or recorded productions.
  • Strong Production Management skills with budgets & cost projections.
  • Demonstrated experience with professional HD video production equipment, including switchers, cameras, lights and lighting boards, audio mixers, ingesting systems, recorders, and editing/post-production.
  • Ability to take direction, be creative, and think ahead in a studio production environment.

Kingdom Fellowship AME Church (KFAME) is seeking an experienced multi-skilled Comptroller to report to the CFO and oversee the accounting and financial operations of the church, the community development corporation, and other entities to be formed. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in accounting, knowledgeable in G. A.A.P, grants management, external audits, financial forecasting, managing financial risk and controls, and fiscal planning; additionally, they will be able to effectively supervise the accounting and financial reporting staff and their respective tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accounting departments; manage payroll, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, state and federal tax filings, and timely financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate month-end and year-end close processes and compliance with KFAME and statutory requirements.
  • Provide financial information to executive leaders to support the development of ministry and operational budgets.
  • Determine the effect of potential business decisions on financial policy.
  • Formulate and enforce policies, procedures, and controls to maintain integrity in financial reporting and minimize risk of error and fraud.
  • Design, articulate, and develop plans to support church growth and execute on business and ministry opportunities.
  • Gather, summarize, and interpret financial data to verify its accuracy and prepare staff and materials to support financial audits.
  • Guide the process of planning and executing the annual KFAME budget, which includes outlining procedural steps for executive staff and identifying potential violations of the law.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance.
  • 5+ years related work experience.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks and FellowshipOne.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Outstanding knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • deep knowledge of accounting regulations, procedures, and policies.
  • Strong communication skills, having the ability to explain financial policies and procedures to accounting staff and organizational leaders.
  • Ability to navigate complex and fast organizational change and coordinate fluctuations in giving and giving platforms, property acquisitions and leasing, and executive leadership transitions.
  • Experience assembling and managing a strong performance-based team, as well as maintaining corporate relationships with banks, vendors, and tenants.

Kingdom Fellowship AME Church (KFAME) is seeking a Director of Discipleship and Christian Education that has a passion for God’s word and the growth of Christian discipleship to support the Grow Ministry and the Grow Lead by strengthening discipleship, membership, and educational opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Supporting the overall Ministry of the church by:
  • Preaching and teaching, as assigned.
  • Representing the church in public spaces, as needed.
  • Fulfilling other ministerial and leadership duties within the church, as assigned.

Strengthening the Discipleship opportunities of the church by:
  • Designing relevant courses and creating curricula to be delivered across multiple platforms with the aim of maturing disciples.
  • Recruiting and training teachers and facilitators, including regular rhythms of equipping and assessment.
  • Thinking outside of the box of traditional discipleship, innovating through various mediums, and with a strong evangelistic message (i.e. podcasts, video series, interactive learning experiences, etc.).

Strengthening the Membership opportunities of the church by:
  • Overseeing the process of recruiting, training, and developing administrators, Connect Coaches and Growth leaders.
  • Facilitating new member orientation and read-in process.
  • Ensuring accuracy and diligence in records, reports, and systems to support new member data.

Strengthening the Educational opportunities of the church by:
  • Creating opportunities for theological conversation around key topics, questions, and culture across multiple platforms and developing programming that encourages and inspires biblical literacy.
  • Organizing panels, summits, and conferences with scholars to facilitate.
  • Researching and writing relevant and accessible content that integrates the rich heritage of A.M.E and African American religious history.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Theological Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Evidence of dedicated prayer life and commitment to discipleship.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office, Apple OS suite, and Zoom.
  • Excellent oral and written communication with effective professional business writing skills.
  • Ability to recruit, disciple, and retain leaders within the ministry.

Overview:
Kingdom Fellowship AME Church (KFAME) is seeking an experienced multi-skilled Facilities Coordinator to execute the onsite operations of its property portfolio. The ideal candidate will ensure that health and safety standards are met and will arrange for repairs when needed. They will report to and work in alignment with the Lead Asset Manager to track expenses, coordinate with external vendors, and the like.
To be successful in this role, the right candidate will be well-organized, able to prioritize multiple issues, and has a good knowledge of basic office equipment and software. Ultimately, they will help our employees, customers and guests get the most out of our facilities for our Sunday and mid-week services (Mon-Thurs evenings and Sunday mornings).

Responsibilities:
  • Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g., heating system, alarms, security cameras)
  • Check rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations
  • Restock office supplies
  • Work with organizational teams to develop and oversee a schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building
  • Schedule room allocation and assignments
  • Monitor activities that happen outside the building, such as proper waste disposal and recycling
  • Light moving and arrangement of furniture for room set up
  • Keep track of regular and ad-hoc facility expenses
  • Conduct market research and compare costs and benefits when evaluating new vendors
  • Maintain an updated record of invoices from external partners (e.g., suppliers, insurance agents, security guards)
  • Research new services and appliances to facilitate operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Facilities Manager Qualifications:
  • Work experience as an administrator or coordinator
  • Knowledge of facilities management operations
  • Familiarity with office equipment and software (i.e., Microsoft Office)
  • Understanding of safety regulations in offices
  • Sound judgement and the ability to think quickly during emergencies
  • BS from an accredited institution or relevant certification is preferred
